Setup Does Not Work On Win XP w/ SP2 (FIX)

If you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and the setup either hangs or locks up on you, then you should do the following:

Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System.

Then go to the Advance Tab -> Performance (Settings) -> Data Execution Protection -> then click "Add".

Browse to your CD where Ryzom is and click the Setup.exe file.
Click OK. Apply

Your setup should now work.

ok umm i go to performance and i dont see the data part, all i have is visual affects and advanced. I dont see what your saying in any of those im not the most pc msart person so if you could help a little

Still wont let me run setup, i got the pack and follow everything you said and it gives me a error still when i try and run it
