Macro's ... wait for previus action to finish ?

Post by ophielle »

Hello,

Can you set a macro to wait for the previus action to finish before starting a new one for example

Prospection Plan
<wait>
Extraction

Also can you loop a macro ?

Prospection Plan
<wait>
Extraction
<wait>
Start Again ?

If you can loop a macro can you set the amount of times or would you need to use the stop current action ?

None of that can be done and i am surely glad for it. We dont want robots to run around. All the games that allowed extensive macroing suffered from it.

Sorry you have to be in front of your PC while you play =P

Good idea....we can do too

target closed enemy
tuant
attack
*wait*
start again

............................

on the second comp a healer

heal 10 times
wait ( for the recovry )

..........................

i think we need a command for autoloot too , or valid auto the stuff harvested...
a command for run to the city for sell
a command for answer to a friend ( when we are not here ).

...........................

i enjoy already a zomby game like that...............

I believe the purpose of macros are to string together specific actions which are used daily and are heavily repeated.

It's fun the first few times you have to click, click, click the same sequence. But after a few months - its a bit tedious.

But then at least you can make actions that add things together - like heal life and heal sap in one action.

I think the devs put macros in the game to reduce tedious clicking on the same sequences over and over.

However, the macros don't really work very well.

The main one I use is a macro to untarget something. very handy for the moments you go charging off after a mob by accident and in the panic you are desperately looking for something to stop you !!

just as you are about to strike the obstinate timari with your mages glove you manage to press ctrl+c and untarget him and instead of being dead you bump harmlessly into the side of the timmy :)

there should be a wait for the action to finish, cause i have macros that go to an action bar, and then run the action, but they dont work, cause they both are activated at the same time, and the action is executed before the bar had the time to change to the right one, so a completely wrong action is activated.

Hallo!

Yeah,
F12 is to unselect a target,
F10 is to select yourself (think u can only use that for emotes now),
F6 is to disengage (when u want to stop a fight and run into water by example),
Ctrl+s is to stop the current action
Insert is to sit down (i use that a lot during harvesting)
Space is to select a mob in front of you,
Ctrl+Space is to select a friend

I think that the macros are indeed only meant to make one step easier for us, it is not meant to replace game play. :D
