/commands

Post by nazdreg »

Is there a place where we can find a list of /commands?

namely emotes as i find the menu a tad long to activate in a conversation.

I know of /dance but a full list would be sweet.

Just to make sure I tested some of the emotes out myself. And it looks like all of the emotes that you can do by right-clicking are accessible by typing "/" before it. So the list is right there for you to use.

As for the personal emotes (/me or /emote) I have asked for this in the past. I will ask again and see if the devs can incorporate this into the game.

easy way to check what emotes are what

right click and choose the emotes

my current favorite ones are

/dance
/burp
/dramatic
/brave

if you can use elder of atys as a title then there's the /fbt emote that they only have

As far as animations go, they're quite varied, but not very long. I.e. Dancing is too short for whenever it is useful (you'd need to repeat it to get any decent effect, which would create spam). Maybe it should loop by default until the player moves/does something else.

One thing that would help the emotes in general would be gender specific emotes :P ...currently my female character is a male whenever she emote something.

It looks like they added / commands for more. I know /grin was never in the game post release, but now it is, just tried it.

You can get looped animations, but only when you're foraging. Do a /emote when digging and it will loop in place of the swinging pick animation ;)
