Is anyone else having trouble with the welcomers?

No matter what I do none of them will give me anything beyond the "I'm a welcomer, I'm here to help you" bit.

Well, I am not having that exact problem, but everytime I start the game, I talk to a welcomer, then I get the "Please Wait..." Connection thing pop up, and I sit there frozen... So I quite, come back, then at that point the NPC's wont talk to me...

So I feel your pain.

Anyone else losing connection as much as I am with the Please Wait box?

I was having the same problem with 2 characters but managed to work around it both times. I can't remember what I did. I wonder if it's not left clicking on them after that greeting to get the newbie missions started rather than right clicking (which never offered the choice) or something similar?

There is a way. If I figure it out with my next new char, I'll let you know.

Yup, I have the same problem with the Welcomers. People were telling me last night it was a problem just with the Zorai Welcomers. Are you Zorai? I eventually gave up and moved on.

Nope. I play a Tryker. On the UK server but I would guess the server software is at the same patch level.

Yep, it seems it is the Zorai. I'm going to try to stick with them. Hopefully it gets fixed before too many people play the game.

I play a tryker, I didn't have that problem but I did have the quest object not coming up correctly during a later talk with the welcomer for showing me how to do a harvest quest. One of the items it asked for showed alot of gibberish instead of the name.

We are aware of this problem and are working hard to fix it as quickly as we can.

But for the sake of tracking, I hope some or one of you submitted tickets to Customer Service? It helps to have something documented on the server and it is the quickest way to get it fixed. Just something to keep in the back of your minds.

Thanks,
