I've not bothered to look at other players priced gear as I make all of my own, but I'm curious as to what people sell for.
Personally, I round off whatever is twice the vendor offer. If it's an above average piece of equipment, then I'll round up, if it's average of below I'll round down, if it's pure crap I just sell to the vendor and accept the loss since no one is going to buy it anyway.
So.. any insights into others pricing schemes?
(ps: It might be nice to have names attached to the equipment in the sale window of who made the item, not permanent in the item, but just who you are buying it from)

Players pricing?
Re: Players pricing?
in Ryzom, as in the "real" world, it's whatever the market will bear. There are some markets where the supply and/or number of suppliers is very limited, and they can (and often do) charge just about whatever they want.mikwana wrote:So.. any insights into others pricing schemes?
for my part, i try to charge a price that:
- is reasonable for my customer, in part so they will remember the transaction favorably and return when they need another
- gives me a reasonable return on my investment in making the item
IMHO, this price has NOTHING to do with the price the vendor gives. At least in weapons, the doubled price of the vendor is quite a bit lower than what I would charge selling the item 1 - on - 1.
