Kind of amusing, in a sick way.

Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

Kind of amusing, in a sick way.

Post by jjm152 »

I decided to log on and talk to my friends in the guild today. I figure I will just harvest some mats and do a little crafting while I chat.

Sit down, prospect a bit and start getting mats from the ground.

After 2 attempts I realize the mats aren't transfering into my inventory.

The only way to fix this bug (i have encountered it twice now since Patch 1) is to either destroy the partial stack in your bag, or sell it or trade it or otherwise remove it from your personage.

/gu Bye guys.

/quit

Got about 2 minutes into the game before I ran into a bug. I think that might be a new worlds record.

I remember you cancelling a long time ago. And then again in another thread.

Just leave for the love of all things holy, im tired of your posts.

All you do is whine about how inept you really are. If your really gone, you won't reply to this.

Sorry, i'm just so sick and tired of your posts - you troll every thread and post all of your negative thoughts.

Never played Anarchy Online during the first few weeks of its release did ya? Or beta test any other game in early beta stages? Oh never mind. Two minutes is nothing, but I'll give you a gold medal for being the first Ryzom player to think it's worth a whole thread. :D

Seriously, you claim it's people that defend the game that drive customers away. Yeah, right. Fact is, it's people like you that can NEVER shut up about how HORRIBLE it is.

"I hate this game, this sucks. etc" x 99 (Yours is most persistent, but EASILY not the highest QL)

versus.

"This is why I still like the game." (Generally higher QL, but fewer in number).

I guess it all depends on whether you are aggressive, or gentle. :D

Hmm... then why read something I obviously posted? My name is right under the post heading...

There is this thing, its called "self control". If you learn to practice it, you will be a happier individual.

PS: Thanks for the personal attack, it really makes you look very mature and me look very bad.

What anyone that's attacking another about a disgruntled post should realize; they are posting because they care & would like to be able to enjoy the game again.

If your tired of the gripe, then just pass it up, or continue playing.

There is a difference between "disgruntled" and "aggressive tendancies" *nods*

Whats really amusing is baldur (sarthus) up there has signed both the petition to revert risk/reward back to something approaching what they were... as well as having voiced nearly the same concerns I have.

I suppose he just doesn't approve of the "tone" of my posts.

Whats even more amusing is that since I don't post my characters name in these forums many people who have recently been very bitter towards me for example, Sarthus, Zzei, Melodi (all trykers) do not realize that we have had many good conversations and in some cases even adventured together.

I seriously doubt they would be so denegrating to me in the game, but out here on the forums its perfectly all right to insult and belittle people who hold contrary opinions to you ;)

I was gunna put my profile in a sig, but I never got around to it. Now I'm kinda of glad that I didn't because it's very interesting to see how different people treat you in game than they do on these boards.

Cheers

Hmm, Like I said its not a big secret. I was planning on making a sig.

I just find it interesting that people that are generally friendly in-game could be so nasty on the boards.

Well, two things:

1) I treat you exactly the same in game as I do here. I point out your inconsistencies and wait for you to retaliate with your "I know more than you" rhetoric.

2) In game some people play a character, and even people I group with personally will treat a fellow Tryker respectfully regardless of the player.
