Still needs work. But just a little tweaking.
Healing is better which helps. But combat is still to stressful and unrewarding. Still hardly land many spells at all. The pace is to hecktic and you are on the edge of your seat all the time on the verge of dieing. And if you get agro from the wrong thing or two of something forget it the whole team is dead. Just a little more tweaking would be nice. Not sure what to even hunt anymore with high level team. Small team with lower skills we seemed to find some things to hunt but it's a fine line. Seems to be a void in there. At higher level nothing gives enough XP or it kills us way to easy (as in no chance of killing it at all)

Mobs still hit pretty hard, making travel really hard. Harvesting is amazing, we can finally put armor on our people for USE in fighting groups. The mat intake is suffecient amount to allow for the crafting needs.
I'm overjoyed with the harvesting changes, they allow for solo harvesting, and reward you for working in a team. OUTSTANDING improvements to harvesting.
Spells still get resisted a lot, perhaps a bit too much, magic does no good if you have to be 20 lvls over the lvl of the mob to land spells on it.

try making a lvl 1 noobchar and kill ANYTHING, it's simply impossible, you can't even kill the lowest mob in the whole game

It is an improvement, but in my opinion, the combat still needs some work.
I hate to keep beating the same horse, but I want to be sure the devs are aware that some people feel as I do.
I am a pure melee fighter. I loved the combat before patch 1, solo battles against even level mobs were drawn out, it mattered whether my increase damage, bleeds, and attacks after dodge or crit landed, and if I got unexpected adds I knew I was in trouble and had to fight very smart if I wanted to survive.
After patch 1 combat was insanely fast (imo), it was only a little better than point-click-kill, and just as boring.
Now, after the mini-patch it is a little better, but still, there is very little need for strategy with mobs I am capable of killing, usually if I just hit increase damage I will kill anything I can, not as fast as patch 1, but way too fast to be enjoyable, and grouping would be pointless for single pulls, it would be back down to point-click-kill as far as I can see. (edit: And still, if I get adds, it's not a matter of playing smart to survive, it's a matter of trying to kill at least one mob before dieing for that bit of extra experience before working off a debt. In other words, adds make death a near certainty rather than an extreme tactical situation to make things exciting)
I understand the need to slow down leveling, I have no problem there, but if this is the combat we're going to be stuck with, I doubt I will be with this game long term.

I agree eschiava. I spent an hour or 2 this afternoon and most of this evening trying to lower my DP to no avail. The creatures I can kill give me no experience. Those that are a challenge eventually killed me when 2 or more agro'd leaving me back at my max'd out DP. Teaming is about the same. There is little point in playing a game that is no fun. Nevrax has taken the fun out of the game. I think there were some good changes in the fix-it patch but I still think the harvest exp is still a little rediculas. I was harvesting for a good 3 hours atleast and I got little less than half a lvl in harvest. I'm a lvl 160 forest forager so my lvl should take some time but 6+ hours of pure forage to get 1 lvl in harvest is a little extreme. Other than the lvling complaint I feel this fix-it patch helped out alot! Thanks for the quick fix devs! :]
