The main problem is not really that the patch is good or bad, we need to give it more time to see if it is really that bad.

The problem is that the game population wasnt exactly high before, that people were already whining about the lack of contents, that 2 behemoth mmorpg's are planned for release soon (not saying that they're good, just that it's a factor to consider), and that this patch 1 month after release, changes so many things and doesnt solve many of the current issues only serves to frustrate a large part of the active population... if more people quit, the game will be in trouble.

It was a strategic blunder imho. The only thing that will bring to the game is a bad reputation of drastic last minute changes, huge patch that was on a test server with negative feed back from the testers that goes live anyway, ... those that will quit will make a bad reputation to the game, more than those who are happy or neutral with the change.

Did they need to piss off so many people when the server population seems to be already an issue?
