Wonderfull game... or was..

Well. as of now my acount is cancled.

what started out a great game has been ruined.
not just the harvesting but the entire patch.
got in tested everything i could. and just got more and more upset.
knew it was geting hosed after checking the ATS server but figured
i would wait and see what went live.

great game. deleted....

I'm sorry but I went back in game and immediately got killed by 2 growling ragus where I was able to at least solo them before. They killed me in 3 hits...to me this is NOT fun and I think I will join the list of people leaving the game. Before, at least I had a chance to leave the city areas and explore a little. Not anymore, as soon as I go anywhere I get jumped by Gingos or Ragus...this patch sucks! My bro. called me tonight and he is getting EQ 2. Guess I'll try that one next. It sucks because I was REALLY enjoying this game and planned to stay long term but when they make it TO hard to play, it's just not fun or worth it anymore to me.

If he was the only one having this reaction, I'd give what you say more credence. Looking at this forum, and the European-English forum, and even the French and German forums (I don't speak either language but the thumbs down and sad face symbols are universal), it appears this is the reaction of many. Are they all mistaken?

Did you read about the patch that will fix the foraging issues? Didn't think so.

There seems to be an element of the NA gamer community at large that is SO ready to cut and run when the game isn't EXACTLY what they want it to be. Just like the real world, you don't always get your way, even when you are paying for something.

Plus...this game went live WHEN? Not quite two months ago? or two YEARS ago, sheesh, so many people are acting like this game has two YEARS of time that the devs have had to code in back story...add music and merchants for player made goods (both in last patch, and both a NICE addition, in my LESS than humble opinion), patch out bugs, hang ups, driver issues, and on and on and on.

Compare this game to EVERYTHING out there live...and then you will see, it half so bad as you think it is.

and just like when you don't get your own way when paying for a service, they start to look to go elsewhere. Or are you crazy enough to go back to a restaurant where they always get your order wrong?

by your post I don't think you've stepped into the patch and seen just how bad it is.

a test server patch is nice, but if they knew it was this bad... why did it go live?

I'm not complaining about the foraging issues or no music or anything else. The ONLY thing that is bothering me right now is that to survive, I have to stay VERY close to a city which I didn't have to do before. I'm not gonna keep going out, dieing then having to work off a HUGE death penalty...not my idea of an enjoyable game! If you didn't get jumped by 10 gingos or ragus everytime you move it wouldn't be 1/2 as bad, but they way it is now SUCKS!
I like to explore and see new things in a game, not be stuck in the same small area for weeks just trying to get to a high enough level to go anywhere! I LOVED this game before this patch, HATE it now! I'll keep checking here to see if they fix anything, if not I'll cancel, simple as that!

Well, I'm not ready to delete it yet, I'll give them some time to fix it, but as of now, the game is largely unplayable, or at least a lot less fun when you spend 3/4 of your time getting rid of DP's. When you're level 75 warrior gets taken down in 5 seconds by a couple of scowling gingo's, something is wrong.

Yes....I aslo canceled my account...dont like the idea resetting yur skills..its bad enough to figure out a good stanza and make it work.....and to do it agian is not appealing to me....
