Mail system

Post by ludig5 »

Please put a visual queueing system in game to notify a PC they have received mail... currently, a person could play for months, racking up mail all day long, and not realize he has any unless he actually went to the mail screen.

We do! And I have used it to send mail. No responses yet, guess that new mail cue is a good idea! :D

Simple guide for email and guild forums (not mentioned specifically but the directions will work for either).

Thanks Gralen, glad you found that post. But, would still be nice to have a notification... whats the point of putting a system like this in game and not code notification?

I say they should code the notification and also code a way to turn notification off (for those that don't like getting bothered).

The E-mail system is a perfect way for a crafter/harvester to get orders etc when they arent online.

Hehe, didn't realize the guide had vanished due to the auto-filtering until I saw this thread. I agree though that some form of notification is needed.
