I just had an horrible experience via ff11... i just wanted to know if the leveling up was as tedious in ryzom than in ff11.
Are u obliged to be in a group in order to play? that's why i stopped playing squareenix mmorpg...
I don't have anything against being in a group, but being forced to do it is just stupid and boring.
thanks.
First let me start out by giving you a tip to ignore any unregistered users. They aren't playing the game so they have no way of giving you correct information.

Now on to your questions:

1) Tedious leveling
Ryzom just like any other MMO has leveling. It's one of the very basic activities of MMO's. Now having said that it depends on what you do to level if it's going to be boring or not. What I mean by that is if you go into the game and your only goal is to get a strong fighter in one area, then yes you are going to get bored quick. However if you take turns leveling different areas like harvesting, crafting, and fighting you probably won't get bored. Also if you approach leveling with a goal like improving your factions, leveling will not be a boring thing. I myself have not got bored yet. There seems to be enough to do so your not stuck doing one thing.

2) Your not at all obliged to be in a group. The game is very solo friendly. But as can be expected going it solo will result in slower leveling that if you group.

Hope that answers your questions.

A guy want to play this game and ask a question, and you start trolling.
Thanks everyone for answering my question, but i think i'll wait for Wolrd of warcraft, as i've read oher topics and this community doesn't seems to be any better than FF XI's (thanks to all thoses un-registered cowards who hides and cannot express their opinions under a name).
Brats shouldn't be allowed to play online games. I'm ready to pay a high fee just to be rid of them in MMORPG.
Adieu, je vais chez blizzard :p
Sorry to hear that, but as I did say the majority of unresigtered people do not represent the people who play the game. They are people who are here to do only one thing, troll and flame the game. Anyway, good luck in WoW hope it's what you think it's going to be.
