Someone said to me yesterday yhat they were teleporting back to one of the Zorai towns. I took that to mean they were killing themselves and respawning in town but no, they actually teleported.
Apparently all you do is find the Zorai altar in town and ctrl-click space it.
Not exactly very intuitive - I have seen those things often and clicked on em and right-clicked em with nothing so I presumed they did nothing.
I tried it with this new fancy ctrl-click space trick and voila - I bought a ticket.
Where is this documented for Zorais?
Does that mean that all those who got thru the prime roots when it was way way too easy can now ticket themsleves backwards and forwards to take advantage of harvesting in different regions and the enormous benefit to SP's that that brings?
While the rest of us ponder the possibility of never harvesting in other regions, maybe Primeroots if we are lucky.
We have a ticket transport system?

You knw you love when I reply to you
First answer, yes. All cities, and some random places have transporters where you can purchase tickets.
Therefore, when I spent 7 hours to get to Zorai from Tryker the night of the 22nd, I purchased tickets in each city the moment I got in. Now I travel back and forth on a whim. Also, the moment the two Zorai (of 50ish) and one Matis made the journey into the Lakelands (Zorai at it for 12 hours) they immediately purhased tickets.
The Karavan have ticket locations as well. They are, infact, the majority of Tryker ticketers.
Anyway, yes. Once you get to another land you can buy tickets and take advantage of harvesting etc etc. And no, and uber guild or uber level character isn't required to get there. Just a heck of a lot of patience, and a brain that uses a good mix of logic, creativity and "oh crap run"

Re: We have a ticket transport system?
thanks Neiana.
So it is possible but very difficult to make the trip solo?
Thanks for not flaming me - it really helps this poor old sensitive person here.
If so I might take an older disused character for a trip to find a safe passage.
Where would I start to look for the prime roots from the Zorai end, as I haven't seen them yet?

It's possible yes. For best results it would be like playing a game something akin to Theif or Metal Gear Solid type sneaky game play. You sit.. you wait. You wait. You wait. You wait. OMG RUN RUN RUN STOP!!! wait. wait.. etc.
I'm but a low person myself (55 when I did the run to Zorai) but I can do my best to show you from Zorai. There was a group of about 30 or so that tried yesterday.. in the end only two made it after those 12 hours.. Again, you just need patience.
Feel free to send a /tell to Kaena when you are in game, and I will see what I can do for you. I will at least explain the basics of root running and what aggro / does not between Zorai and Tryker.
That's the best I can do for you.

Re: We have a ticket transport system?
While it is definatly true that the ticket system is giving earlier birds a great advantage (me being one of them) it *is* still possible to get tickets for the teleporters alone or in small groups. Several of my guild mates did so already.

Re: We have a ticket transport system?
Can we buy tickets from other players?
Would be a great trading opportunity for those who can buy them.
The one I bought in my home town cost about 12k I think.
I would pay maybe 50-100k or more for a ticket to a Matis town.

Re: We have a ticket transport system?
If players cant sell tickets to other players then I will need to become a runner.
I can only commit 1 hour or so solid at a time because of things that crop up in real life with my family.
So I might be a real burden to a group.
Maybe I need a roadmap from Zorai thru to the other side with possible logging off places where I can stop the journey and recontinue later.
Are there any respawn points after I leave the main Zorai towns or will I need to run all the way back when I die (a lot I guess) from my Zorai towns?
I have never used the speed power stanza - would it be useful for the trip?

Re: We have a ticket transport system?
It is really very quick to level from 50-120 or so in forage whan you have the right stanzas already so being able to forage in other egions would yield enormous skill points to reallocate after the respec.
Almost seems ridiculous to be able to do that - many people must have heaps of Sp's from foraging in other regions to reallocate into other compatible skill trees.
