question about forcing direct 3d

I need to force my video card to use direct 3d...problem is i start the configuration program from within windows...but can't seem to figure out what i need to do to force my video card to use direct 3d...pls help.

Easy enough, X. Open the configuration tool within windows. Right under the "General" option is "Display;" display does have sub-menus, but what you want to do is click on the bold "Display" option. From there, you'll see where you have the option to "Specify if Ryzom is to be run in OpenGL or Direct3D."

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out that 'Display' itself is a clickable menu. It doesn't look like one! I assumed it was just a header. =p
