Bought the Game!

I'm in EQ2 Beta and Matrix Online and both games are kinda driving me crazy.. also note that my hubby is hogging EQ2.. hehe.. but I ran across this game in the PC Gamers magazine and wondered why I hadn't heard about it! Talked to hubby and he said it sucked.. haha.. but I read so many positive things about it last night on your forums and decided to give it a shot!

I hope I'll see some of you online! I really hope this is better then the other ones I have tried.. and sad to say.. my fav so far is SWG.. just cuz of all the clothes!

I've played: FFXI, SWG, Lineage II, EQ2, WoW, MatrixOnline. Dieing to find a game that I can stick with.

And congratulations on getting this game! I do hope you enjoy it and find it is a game worth sticking with! And hey! There is nothing wrong with liking SWG! As long as dancing was a viable profession (not taken completely over by buff bots), there was plenty of good RP, and the clothes were still fresh and exciting I played nothing else! Too bad there is so much wrong with or missing from the game. I am sure you will find Ryzom a refreshing change, if for no other reason other than you can literally do ANYTHING! <grins>

Enjoy the game, but I suggest that you join a guild to get the most fun out of it, Loads of them are recruiting at the moment so you will have a big choice, they will help with advice, armour and weapons.
I would suggest you consider starting as crafting, as the fight XP will come along naturally as you progress through the game, also, I recommend staying away from magic as I found it a bit suky and pretty useless even at level 16, I figure I wasted a lot of time with it, for little gain.
