Hey guys, Tom here from Uk just thought u mite like to read my story so far, im adding more as i progress through the game. Enjoy!!
Chapter 1 - The awakening
Falstaff opened his eyes, the sunlight was shimmering on the water outside and he sat upright to look at where he was. This was a new place to him, far from his idealic homeland that he had been transported from. He peered through the round shaped window and could see a dark figure in the distance, all dressed in black. This reminded him of a disturbing dream he had had the previous night and he quickly shut this out of his mind.
He put on his tatty clothes and headed out of the door, just before he remembered he had left his pick above his bed. He retrieved it and continued on out. It was a beutiful day for the autumn season and Atys looked charming on this crisp morning. He ran and jumped into the aqua blue water that surrounded the encampment, feeling the cool water on his face made him more awake and he swam to the edge to dry himself. Waverton was very quiet on trensway morning and he took this oppurtunity to begin haversting right away. He moved towards a small group of moon wood tree and began to dig. The quality of the bark he discovered was very good indeed and he knew that this would sell for a large amount to the local supplier.
As he wandered furthur from town he noticed a crab life creature on the horizon. The myths of the great kitin war filled his mind and he turned away and walked back towards town, when a small creature came to his side. It started to make a growling noise so he bent down to stroke it. Soon many more had began circling him and he felt quite safe. Then he noticed a shadow of that looked familiar. He looked up the ridge to see the same crab like creature towering above him............
When he woke up there were a rather large amount of strange beings looking down on him.
Chapter 2 - Strange faces and acts of Heroism
Falstaff awoke and once again the sun was a little bright in his eyes but he was no longer in his comfy room that he had enjoyed the past two nights, no this place was different and had a cold and chilling sense about it. He moved his arm up from down by his side and noticed that it was no longer bear skin, but now had an emblem engraved on it, a J with shockwaves around it, while wondering how it had got there a tall figure masked the light in the room.
"Young homin, you were close to death itself, we could almost feel the icy hand taking you away but we brought you back with the power of Jena."
"Jena who is jena, where am I how did i get here?"
But as he said that the room was ablaze with sunlight once more and the figure had passed on. He was very perplexed with what he had just witnessed and the marking on his arm was begining to fade, which was what he thought was a good thing, for now.
He washed and left the room and by now the weather had changed for the worse, the bazzar was full of many of his friends sheltering from the harsh conditions that were going on around him. He decided to sell some of the materials he had picked up from killing the Yubos, the local town pest. With a few hundred dappers now in his pocket he bought himself a new set of clothes and he began to stronger. He headed out into the rain and quickly became chilly, but he carried on regardless as he new if he was ever going to become a better tryker he would have to train up his body.
A herd of Messabs was lingering off the west side of Waverton and he crouched to watch their movements, there seem to be some sort of unrest in the herd, he wondered if this was because of the weather or something mysterious that lurked in the distance, a shadow that he could put some familiarity to. The shadow was on the move and the herd was no very nervous indeed, it was soon joined by others and they began to circle the herd and drive weaker animals out.
Falstaff watched with a heavy heart as one of the messabs was torn apart by these vicious monsters. He walked towards a palm tree to get some shelter from the howling wind. He heard something close, he was wary as this could be a tricky situation so he backed away, a fellow tryker emerged from the foliage, he was injured badly. He yelled to Falstaff,
"Watch out"
Falstaff turned around to see a vile looking creature stairing at him, the eyes we fixed on him and Falstaff began to tremble. He looked down at his fellow homin and turned once more to face the creature, the adrenaline burst drove him to draw out his sword and sheild his friend.
He lunged again and again deep into the creatures body until it collapsed to the floor in a heap. Falstaff felt his side and his hand returned with blood seeping through his fingers, he fell to his knees and his mind began to darken. In the back of his mind he heard the words;
"Those who believe in themselves, will find it in them to regain what they have lost"
The words echoed throughout his head and he picked up his injured partner and staggered back to the village. The locals carried his friend to the medical center the sublevel of the main block of the village for treatment, and Falstaff collapsed on the decking outside of his room. For what he though was a eternity he slept. When he woke he could hear someone nearby uttering an enchantment and he began to feel something in his side, he once again moved his hand downwards and this time the blood had gone. The figure enchanting the words appeared with a smile on his face and held out his hand.
"Greetings my friend"..........
