Player Housing.

Post by loyats »

I thought I heard about this somewhere in relation to SoR. If it's true please confirm, and please let me know who I talk to in Pyr to do this. It's big enough. That way I can be my own one-woman guild.

Well... i am not sure if one can call it "housing" but yes, there are player appartments - these are basically small instanced zones you get access to.

There are apartments that cost a million. And guild halls that cost 10 million.

Go to the south side of Pyr near the Bath House and look for homin apartment caretakers in the recessed doorways along the roads.

If you can't find any, email me in game (http://ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=832 ) and I'll help you track one down.

Yes, one of the first things I spotted in Pyr when I wandered around was the apartment merchants. My question is, what are they good for? Do you get additional item storage for instance?

Yes they work as an extra storage device. And it's pretty neat to just have one imho. :)

well i don't have a player house but our guild hall can hold hardly anything which is a bit dissapointing although later on upgrades will be possible... instanced housings a pretty good idea as it will keep the game world tidy compared to the mess that is SWG's player cities

Note, though, that all you get is a storage option. And when I used them 1 week agao or so you got kicked out of your room after 5-10 minutes...

I would strongly recommend getting 3 mektoubs before an appartement because those are much more flexible. If a mektoub is in a stable you can ccess it's items from *any* other stable *anywhere*. I can put in and remove items from my mektoubs inventory while being at a pyr stable while the mektoub is in the zora stable.

With the the appartement you have to right city and then into the room to get anything.
