Should I get this now, or wait?

well you seem to have had exactly the same experiance that I had. After playing SWG I moved on to City of Heroes which I too found shallow and cancelled after 2 months. Then during the wait for the next big thing I dipped into the trial of Anarchy Online which I assume is the dated one you were talking about.

Anyways.... I'd seriously reccomend getting this game as it has so much more depth than CoH and a great community although there is a slight lack of content, much more will be added in a week or 2 and then larger content update just afterwards.

yeah there 2 patches coming out in the nearish future, patch 1 should be implimented on the main servers very soon, bringing us quite a few handy features, and patch 2 has more features and a lot of the main storyline content

This is a realy nice Onlinegame I think. Get it and get use to the controlles. Then after the first 2 patches I thing this game will be Unbeatable!

I was very excited about the game. But when I got in, I wanted to play the mysterious zorai. I didn't really like the game at that time. Minutes after, switched to Tryker, and now I love it. I'm still in the starting area, soon heading out to the mainlands with some friends. This game is really a good one, with some patience you'll start loving the game.
