[sarcasim]I suppose they could have sold the game but had no servers for a few days. That would have been really popular. [/sarcasim]Unregistered wrote:The whole timing of the release sucks. The servers are open but guess what, noone has the software, how screwed up is that? They knew ages ago when the servers were scheduled to be activated so they could have had software and keys in our hands long before the actual launch date. Heck, we are patching out of the box anyways say it doesn't matter what version comes on the CD. This has got to be one of the worse online launches I have every witnessed.
Think about it. Your talking 1 to 3 days where players trickle onto the servers in the lifetime of a game that will be going at least 12 months. I can't see them being too concerned. The alternative I mentioned above would have caused far more agro.
