Which section of crafting does ammo crafting exp go in?

It's ranged crafting.

are you sure because after ranged crafting splits up there is no mention of ammo and which subsection would it go in after that - do they roll a dice?

Pistol ammo goes in 1H ranged
Rifle/Launcher/Autolauncher ammo goes in 2H ranged.

Later in the tree rifle/launcher/autolauncher split off from 2H.

And I'm sure as I craft ammo above 50.

And btw, pistol ammo gives far better exp than does the pistol itself. The other weapons are a little closer given they need more mats.
