Downtime?

Was it down last night? I tried logging in, and got a patch failure. Even after I knew it was back up, I got more failures ( of the type not listed in the tech forum). So I deleted and reinstalled. I also logged in using my son's laptop and couldn't connect, but it was a different failure. The box that popped up was server host not accepting connections or something.
After I redownloaded, it worked fine ( but that was a couple hours later). I still haven't tried again on the laptop, and may have to reinstall there too.

Do we have regular downtimes? If you've played any other MMO then you know what I'm talking about. EvE Online is daily, WoW is weekly, etc.
How many times do most people have to reinstall? Even if I have to do it every 3 days, they still have AoC beat

I'm getting the error again. It's attempting to patch, patch fails, no reason why. I'm not uninstalling and reinstalling again until I know of a way to check server status.

tried that and the fixer, now I'm getting new errors. Looks like a fresh reinstall yet again is the solution. Sighhh.
