World Trekk Sunday

Post by tigrus »

Hosted by The Exodus Gaming Syndicate, we will trekk all low lvl players around the world of Atys, on Sunday at 4 PM EST (9 PM GMT).

This is a chance for all those coming over and trying the game to get around the world and take a real look.

Very well done! I only did the FH to Zora leg, and it was led very well. Thanks to those who set it up and led it!

Ha, we kicked some Kitin rear-end on Sunday! :D
Was surprisingly easy, even if we had quite a few low-level Charakters with us to show o... errr around ;)

Was fun! Footage will come probably tomorrow.

But a large scale World Trek is a nice Idea too :)

Just an observation. I have never been on a trek that stops to take a real look at anything. In the rush to get from Point A to Point E through Points B, C and D, it seems there's never enough time to "stop and smell the cratcha".

While I'd recommend a trek to peeps who may have joined a guild located in another city than the one they arrived in, I think you lose some of the sense of wonder by whooshing thru all the areas, storing up loads of TP's, and settling into a routine whereby you are teleporting into the popular "grinding grounds" and never taking a slow tour of the beautiful world we call Atys.

Again, not trying to talk anyone out of it, but my greatest memories on Ryzom are those whereby we made it to a new place on our own.....and reading all the "wow, check that out" posts in team chat.

We spent 6 hours doing it, with plenty of stops... and goofups :P
