Tribe Quest Givers / Possible Content

I like to travel around Atys and one of the things I sometimes like to do is try and raise fame with the various tribes. Of course if it's one of those tribes that KoS you, it's kinda hard to get started and you have to find one of those wandering NPC's. I'm going to start to put together a database of information related to tribes. The list below is from the fame table on ryzom.raum

I'm thinking I will include name / location / name of wandering quest giver and the spots that npc can be found (by season) and anything else that is suggested. I know there are more tribes than in the list below cause I have seen them.....just too old to remember their names <g>.

Ok, why bother ? Well this might not be enjoyable for all but it might be for some. Gives one a reason to wander around and enjoy the beauty instead of just grinding at the "usual spots". I have my civilization fame at or just about 50 for all civ's and enjoyed the effort in doing it as well as the rites that went with it.

Also see tribes as under urilized in game and this could grow into new content. For example:

-Get fame above KOS level w/ all tribes in a Fyros and get title of Fyros Ambassador....same for 4 other regions.
-Have tribes "smuggle" certain dyes / mats which could be used to tint and add symbols to armor....could be source of OP mats for non OP'd guilds.
-Raise fame with a tribe and get them to supply you with dug mats for a price .... finally a use for dapper !
-Get requests from them to help them defend their camp against attacks by other tribes.

Could be some interesting stuff ......

"Bring some Ladies of the Evening to the Laggon Brothers camp and they will be very, very grateful to you".

And I'm not talking about what the "Siblings of the Weed" might be smugglin.

So if ya have any info to add, please post and I will add it to the list.....when done will do something like the botany database.

iirc tribes were going to play a big part in outposts, but they simplified it somewhat to zerg vs zerg

You're only missing the Sacred Sap as far as I can see.

I think at one point there were such lists as you're planning to make, but after it became clear tribes would fall to the wayside, people just didn't bother anymore.

I used to like raising fame with all the tribes until the fame patch made it a lot harder without introducing any benefit for good fame. Would be nice if we could have just 1 rite per tribe. (Well, 'just', that's still 51 rites. )

It must have been one of the bandit tribes that you can't gain fame with, like the Heartbreak Babes.

Unless I am going totally senile .... it was a "P" word ... Prince, Princesses ... something along those lines. I do remeber looking at Raum and not seeing a correspoinding "black dot"
