Need links to Silan images and videos for a 3d project

Hi, since I had accidently deleted my Ryzom folder and do not have the install nor backups, I cannot obtain myself the data I need for my 3d project. When I get passionate about a game, I tend to do a 3d representation of it for wallpapers or movies.

So can anyone supply me with links to images and videos that are about Silan (starting Island) ?

If I do not have enough materials, then I will have to pick up another location.

I already started building based on a few screenshosts I have.

Sorry I do not have any images to show for the money nor have any personnal sites that talk about it. But I have been thinking about getting a site of my own...

I already asked Xavier about it to see if I am allowed to do it: he did not opposed to it.

You are aware of Atyscape? A 3d image of Silan you can fly over sounds like it could be useful for you. Ofcourse you need Ryzom installed for it to work...

I installed Atyscape and upon starting it, when I chose Silan, it crashed.

Does the Silan world part works ?

In the mean time, I will go check their site.


I registered to their forum but even if I am connected, I see no options to post anything. It is like I am only allowed to view.

Yes, Silan works - or it works in the version found here at least, I think there's at least one other download available eslewhere which might be a different version.

I have the 0.90 version.

I tried going to Pyr on Fyros and I had no problems. So I tried again with Silan and it crashed again.

Went back to their forum thinking my profile would have been updated but I still have no way of posting and didn't receive any emails either. Odd forum !

I guess now that I will be able to play, I now have the means to get the visual references to do my 3d projects (unless the 'X' company says otherwise).

I just have to remember that I am not playing but working ....


Anyway, as I have less free time then before (doing 12 hours shifts), I am not saying I will go through this until the end of my project.
