There's player apartments for sale in the capital cities; different look for each race. They ought to be sold for 1 million dappers and can be used as storage space, but no decorations or such are available.

There's no questing in this game, but some of the menial tasks asked will indeed show what you described. Delivery, scouting, crafting, foraging and killing. Most of these mission on the mainland will, unlike on Silan, not give you any experience boosts or items. They are mostly used to gain fame with civs, factions and tribes which is then in turn needed to accomplish Rites, which are special missions that will give your character new skills, powers or stat upgrades.
