To Switch/Maestro card users in the UK: As you may know, the Switch card becomes Maestro. Besides the brand name, the main change is that Maestro adds a mandatory cardholder authentication process called "MasterCard SecureCode", which prevents recurring payments from being setup. If you pay your Ryzom subscription with a Maestro card (formerly known as Switch), you will need to reenter your payment details and your SecureCode each time your subscription period runs out. In concrete terms, you will receive an email stating that your transaction failed, and you will be invited to visit your profile to reenter your payment details. Until you do so, you won't be able to play Ryzom (you will get an error 3011 when attempting to log in).
For more information about this policy change, please ask your bank.
To Solo card users: you now have optional access to the cardholder authentication process called "MasterCard SecureCode". If you opt for it, your card will have the same limitations as the Maestro card (see above) and the recurring payments regarding your Ryzom subscription will be rejected.
