ops vote

Post by viper579 »

in uni myself and another player agreed the best thing GF could do for the continuation of the game would be disable op battles.

i didnt put any options about changing how op battles are as in gvg etc, because history shows GF isnt that interested in ryzom.

i also didnt put any options in about kitin invasions etc as those are unlikely as well.

If we as little street kids could figure out a way to make their games more balanced, challenging and fun....I would think that a game company or even the players themsleves could come up with an idea or two."

cats as a reward for PvP has always and always will be a stupid idea, the idea of flowers suck too, if a guild own an OP which gives 250 extra focus all the members shud have it all the time, flowers just suck.

You own a magic pole give a 5% bonus to all magic, give new craft plans ect.

SOOOO much could be done with outpost rewards but they just give double exp which ruins so much of the game imo

PS- that said nothing will change, how long ago was spires, kitin land, ranged and 1h revamp mentioned and like everything else it slowly disapears.
For me taking cats out of game and doing bug fixes is most important, i am a patient peson and wud rather see quality content 6 months late than half arsed buggy content we see at the moment.

Even less content? Great idea. :p

Improve or preferably add, not remove.

Voted yes, but like what Yaffle said in your non-pol post....

Outposts need to give better / different rewards and reduce / remove CATs :)

I'd be willing to discuss a change in the rewards.

But removing outposts completely gets a big fat 'no' from me.
The battles can be extremely fun- like the recent showdowns at Woodburn Stronghold. I'm not much interested in leveling lately, but fights like that always get me to log on.

Personally i dont care about OP battles but i dont see how removing them would help the community. If nothing else they keep the hi level players busy, yes they do generate some tensions and bickering but i dont see it as being that bad.
I think you blowing the whole brave thing out of proportion, its getting a bit ridiculous. Lay it to rest for crying out loud.

Remove the OPs, what main content does Ryzom leave for high level players? Yep. Exactly.

Threads merged. It was probably a mistake, but please try not to make multiple copies of the same thread :)

Thanks,
