Could use more info about your system and circumstances surrounding the error. Are you updating(patching) or installing for the first time?

im trying to run ryzom_downloader_setup_070402
i guess to download the client
but i get that error message
i have windows xp
klients doesnt work on my computer either

make sure firewall (one in windows xp or some other software/hardware firewall (that includes one in router) does not block ryzom attempts to access internet.
ryzom uses tcp 40916 outgoing destination port to get version information (first error message), and Klients are useing tcp 6001 (i think) outgoing destination port.
