[DOWNTIME] Patch on Tuesday

The game servers will be closed for patching tomorrow, Tuesday 7th, from 7.30am GMT until approximately 9am GMT. This is to apply the features from patch 633 with the addition of some fixes for the server instability problems.

Whatever they decide with the OP wars it is very nice of devs to come up with more patches and keep working for the greater good of Atys and the community.

Abd as for wars - wars cost money they must have figured that out back in the iron age when the first currencies appeared

As far as I know if the dapper used came from your guild hall it will be refunded if the down time stops the battle.

the whole 'gotta double click on altar etc to activate em' thing - that was supposed to be 'optional' and set to off i thought? when i did login that one time - it was defo on when i logged in (annoying thing) - hows that sposed to work?

According to the OP rules, the declaration(s)(that I know about) shouldn't be effected by the patch downtime. However, if the patch time overruns long enough; causes crashes or just has some function that means it has to wipe any op declarations then it's posible they'll get wiped.
In the case of the latter 2 I guess the refund function might not happen in which case it'd be an idea if the guilds involved in the attacks took a screenshot of their OP window and sent it to support to look in to.

Ofcourse alot of that is a combination of guess work and common sense.

There you go, probably a fuller answer than you'll get from GF since they don't like to be tied down incase things cock up.
