Ryzom

I downloaded the client from the main site but when I run the client/downloader I am getting a message as follows:

There has been an error downloading one of the Ryzom installation files. Please make sure that you have sufficient disk space and that your internet connection is operating correctly.

I have 10GB of available space and a healthy working internet connection. Anyone else have this problem or a fix perhaps? I tried both links from the main page and both gave the same results after downloading and running. I have not done the BitTorrent download as it is very time consuming. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem, can't find a way to fix it either...

By any chance are you running windows Vista? If you are running Vista, put the installer in your My Programs folder, in your Documents.

If you are not running Vista try saving the installer on the same drive or partition that you plan on installing Ryzom.

I'm seeing the exact same problem with XP Pro, 20+ GB of disk space available and a fully functional cable internet connection. I'm installing to
C:\Program Files\Ryzom, which is also where I put the installer/downloader which I've attempted using from both links.

Even after I've completely uninstalled and restarted to be sure that it's starting the process again rather than just picking up where it left off last time.

This game looks really cool, I'd love to check it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem on GF's machine. Moved my installation there - that was the ONLY way the problem could be solved - which originated from a repeated patch - which failed.

Right now, there was no way it could be installed again, other then copying a working installation over her machine.

I think this issue should be handled out asap.

start in safe mode
go to run
type %temp%
delete the contents of the folder

I have enough disc space; windows XP; no problems with connection;
and THE SAME ISSUE.

Same problem here. Maybe server issues atm?
