cant log in

hi, im new to rezom and i cant find a fact paig, so ill ask you all, i just completed the down load and hit install, it did its think the had a box that said run ryzom, i checked it but nothing so i tryed directly starting it and wether i use the install ryzom link on desktop or the run ryzom icom in start menu it always takes me to the instal screen and never runs the game? any help?

Uhm, of course you have to completely install the game first before you can play it. It may be that the installer has to download some files before beginneing the installation progress, so please be patient and let it do it´s thing

If it is installed completely you will normally see a Game Icon just saying "Ryzom" on your Desktop, if this appeares you may click it to beginn creating a new Player Account, without it you can not play of coruse

If that is done, you will be able to go to the "Ruins of Silan" Starter Island and join the other New Players there. Don´t be shy to ask questions in Region Chat, or Universe Chat about the Game.

Hello, I have the same problem....I have downloaded the FULL Client and installed it. It has installed without problem...there is a "Ticked box" at the end of the Install screen which says "Start Ryzom now", however nothing happens.
Double-clicking the Game icons on the desktop (any of them) will only bring you back to the "Install Screen".

I hope I have not downloaded several gigs for nothing...?

Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Greetings!

When you are done installing, there should be 2 icons on your desktop. One that says Ryzom, and another that says Play Ryzom (if you do not see the latter, check your START>All Programs menu under the Ryzom catagory). If you click on "Ryzom" it will bring you back to the installer. If you select "Play Ryzom", it shall bring you into the game.

But it didn't...
I have done some searching....and I do not have all the files....I have no starter exe....only the downloader.
I left Ryzom 2 years ago because of stuff like this.
Looks like I should have not returned...!

Look in the ryzom folder on your hard drive. If there's no file C:/Program Files/ryzom/client_ryzom_rd.exe then go into klients and get a CSR to talk you through moving stuff into the right places.

hey atleast it will actually download for u! for me it got to about 27% dled and it wont dl >.< wait a sec! its dling now, but every now and then it does that srry bout that lol

...I have some strange problem with the game...
...I've installed it, made a character...and when i click "START" button, screen goes black for ...2 seconds? And then nothing happens - I am being redirected to "Making character screen".
...Can someone help me to solve this problem?
