haven't seen this patching problem yet

Post by robbielenz »

So i recently installed ryzom on my parents comp, and it installed just fine. however, when i tried to install on my new computer the downloader got to 50% then sayed that it could not install one of the installation files. i started over and got the same message again. i tried starting over from scratch and got the same error again. it suggested i might not have enough disk space which is not possible, as i have like 140gb free. please help... oh i'm running win vista if that makes a diff.

If you can, try copying the Ryzom folder from your parents' computer to yours, and launch the client from that copied folder. Vista shouldn't make any difference.

As you dont need to install ryzom if you have a complete copy (usually just a large patch once uve logged in) you can just copy and paste what you have on your 'rents computer onto yours (Would suggest getting them on the same network then making a share folder)

And this Does work on vista as ive done it myself, but a couple of weeks ago :)

Greetings, try downloading and executing the installer from your Files folder (Vista problem only). This should work.
