No missions at all on main land?

so there arnt any like COMPLETLY optional missions on the main land at all? nothing that would.. say.... lead you to some powerfull equipment or anything special?

No item giving missions on ML at all


think of it this way,

Would you rather

A. Be able to craft and make the "best" possable gear yourself and have other players seek YOU out for their gear?

or

B. Have the "best" gear obtainable by some mission that anyone can do in a day, and have the whole server population walking around in that uber Gear?


set yourself a goal, then go for that goal! Dont set them too high, start with something like "get to lv 100 in healing" doing that gives a great "reward" on its own (i see u are still on trial, but this goal is allways good once u subscribe)

I dont know what u like or dislike, but try digging, even in the starter lv50 zones there are exel mats, scout around for some, and when u do find some yourself, its great!

learning all the spots yourself is an awesome thing to do. and even doing it again in the higher zones is just as fun (if not more so due to agro lol)

Try simply exploring, Treking is great fun, and dont worry about DP at low levels its worked off fast

and then there's crafting, searching for and finding the best recepies is a life long persuit on its own =)

I hope u stay long enough to try some of these things

Well... there are the encyclopedia missions.. I like the tryker crafting missions that give you a pattern to an ugly but very handy bowrifle pattern

As Cloudy said, the encyclopedia missions or better known as rites.
The rites give a special or deeper knowledge of the lore. A few even give you auras that you will not get in any other way. Melee protection is an aura all can get from the fight trainer for instance, but the lightning wall can only be aquired through a mission. So don't think there aren't any missions worth doing on the mainland

All the missions on the mainland are COMPLETLY optional. You don't have to take a single one.

You can get more powerful equipment by buying it from crafters.
