...and since I'm very impatient, has anyone else had downloader issues?
I have posted in the tech help forums but they are dead.
Basically, I had an issue with Ryzom on this old machine, and ended up uninstalling it, and when I went to download it, that's when the nightmares have begun.
I have heard a few people have had these problems...anyone? Help me before they move this into the bottomless pit of the tech forum!

PS: I guess I could tell ya what has been happening: Everytime I download the lil installer and start it, I get an error. http://beauturkey.com/ryzom/ryzomerror.bmp
I have re formatted a million times, and now I'm just tired and wanna kill sumthin'. Meanwhile the wifey plays and tells me how cool the game is.

Hmmm, I might have it. The error message is basically telling me in a million long stupid PC type ways that its missing that DLL file. So, I google it, download it and put it in the directory where it says its missing.
NOW it's actually going through the download process. Hell yes.

As a side note, be sure that you downloaded the latest version of the Ryzom installer, which can be found here.
