I just installed the game, and it locks up at the character selection screen.
I am running WIN2000 Pro, 512 mb.

Video Card is Geforce2 GTS
Video driver version is 6.14
Directx is 9.0b

Any clues ?

First look in the install directory and check for *.log files - look thru them to see if anything indicates what might be occuring...

I would also consider uninstalling and reinstalling (if you haven't already) just incase....

Run your scandisk utility to ensure you don't have a bad drive sector...

After all that - search these forums and see what you can find - also go to the homepage and use the email support option to get more focused assistance from Ryzom support staff.

Yes, WIN 2K is supported, Molari.

There are 2 log files in the directory, called LOG.LOG and CLIENT.LOG.

I browsed them and there are a lot of messages about missing files.

I think I will send them off to Ryzom support staff.
