The Ryzom MP3 Player

Post by ehnder »

Howdy Atys!

I'm a new player, being about five days old, but I know the game pretty good by now. Now, Ryzom has a neat little MP3 player... I know how to open a song file and play, but the player also has "Next" and "Previous" buttons. I'm curious, how do I put songs in that list? It truly is annoying to have to re-open a file every time I want to listen to something new!

Thanks!

When you browse to the folder you keep your music files in, select multipul with a ctrl+a, ctrl+mouse click or click-shift+click. Unfortunately to make a decent playlist with it all the files have to be in the same folder, I've never have seen it read a playlist file properly.

Thanks for the help! Putting my music all into one folder shouldn't be too hard.

You don't need to put all your files into one folder. The in-game MP3 player will read M3U play lists.

There are tons of free programs to create M3U lists. I use m3uEdit, but it's just the 1st freeware program I downloaded. It's a drag 'n drop program. To work with the Ryzom MP3 player, remove the paths and run the list from the directory where the MP3 files live.

It works just fine as long as I'm not harvesting too close to curious kipee.
