[FIX] Error code 1 and old clients

Contains the new installer that will have the most current, working client. This will help fix the code 1 error and also help with players who have corrupted clients and are not able to run Ryzom.

Also, you will not need to patch again.

You could also check your \ryzom\client.cfg file has these entries or in notepad create a file called client.cfg and paste the entries below:

As of right now only the installer and mirrors are available. Will keep you posted if and when they have the Bit torrent available.

Just downloaded, and when I tried to run it, got this error message.

make sure you have it all and that download didnt stop in the middle.
it should be 1,818,001,584 bytes i think.

had to try a couple different mirrors before I got a file that was of the right size when the download was "complete".

But still getting error 1, even with my firewall/antivirus completely de-activated.

The only versions that are up-to-date which will fix the error code 1 problem that is currently going around is off of the official site. All other mirrors such as from Fileplanet will result in the error.

installer size should be 1,818,001,584 bytes i think. ofcourse, old installer may also have that size

install it and try to login. if you get shard selection screen with patch 500, then it's old version.
if it then gives error patching, then you need to download new version from ryzom.com website and not from mirrors.
just changing config files does not help because old client does not understand what new shard is telling.

Right click on the installer, then click on Properties and Created should be Feb 6, 2007.
