When are people on?

IRL I live in GMT -8, and if I'm on in the early evening I really don't expect to see a lot of other people on, but when it gets to be 0200 here, it's 1000 GMT. Still last night at 0200 PST in Aedan Aqueous on Arispotle there were a whole 8-10 people near Fairhaven and none (other than myself) in Muse.

Well, after I did my /who and discovered that, I took my dp and rezzed in Fairhaven.

My questions are several.
1) Was I just unlucky or are there just not many people on in the morning in Europe?
2) Does it get better in the higher-level regions?
3) Or is it just that no-one wants to be a Tryker at that hour.

Not really complaining, I've met some really nice homins in my visit to Fairhaven, including one who led me to Muse and showed me some good areas. (Thanks, Utai!) I just would like to know when do active people usually log on?

Best hours for people I think are 8 AM-6 PM your time. And my time. As for Trykerlands... not sure. Im usually not there myself. Im usually in Prime Roots, Pyr, Yrkanis, or Dyron.

I know we had a chart put out there recently showing the time zone thingy..where was that?
Maybe I'll try to dig that up. I know that when I'm on at lets say 1pm, in germany it is roughly 7 hours later. Don't know if that helps..*looks for chart*

Usually places such as Winds of Muse, Dew Drops etc are very quiet, no matter what time you're around. Even the higher lvl places like Bounty Beaches, Enchanted Isle and Lagoons of Loria are usually quiet except for the odd forager here and there (not much combat levelling is done in Lakelands at higher levels, most homins tend to use Dyron or Offlovaks Oasis in Fyros, and the Void in Zorai)

I would suggest, if digging, probably the most frequented place would be Fount, Q150 deposits and I've always seen Homins around that area (near the Kara TP) at all sorts of times.

If you need a hand getting there I would be only too glad to trek you there and show you some aggro free areas, just send me a tell

Heh, Q150 mats would be kind of wasted on me. I can only harvest 50 at the moment. Thanks for the answer, though, it explains part of my observation. Once I get up to 100+ in harvest I may take you up on your offer. I really enjoy the fact that people help out as a matter of course, not just as an anomaly.

ppl might be on at 10am weekend (usually diggers though)

weekday tho a majority have boring work

i would say ,that ppl are on at 14pm GMT and later,i guess tghe most work to 12,13 or 14 pm GMT so after they shoudl log on (when they dun have somethinge lse to do) on Weekend ppl are normally every on(well some Ryzom addicted ppl we have here)

West coast, you'd be best off getting on in the afternoon when it's evening in Europe. I'm East coast (GMT-5) and have to wait till after work to get on but still get some good action with late night Europeans. Lots of diggers around dyron.
