The Ryzom podcast number 4!

That's right fellow Atysians! My Ryzom podcast number 4 is all done. Granted, the sound quality is still being worked on, and I'm receiving tips from players and other 'casters alike, but it's still very much a work in progress!
Thanks this week again to my killer co-host Acridiel (Mad Sam the german Madman!) for answering all of my noob questions. He makes me feel like I have SO much to learn, but I look forward to the journey.
This week we attempt a live in-game podcast, with Sam attempting to take me along on his trek to kill some named NPC's. The cool thing is, hearing him do this is the closest I am going to get to one of these guys for a long time. All I can say is "Click...BOOM!"
I also rant a little about some things I would like to see fixed in game, but of course everyone knows that it is meant in the nicest way possible...we Atysians LOVE our world but want to make sure it comes across in the best way possible.
SO, thanks for listening. If you can, leave a comment on iTunes for me. Heck, make it a good one while you're at it...

PS: In the cast I talk about not having enough camera options. This is an open apology to all players that said "WHAT? Go to your settings and you can set keys to lower and raise your camera...DOOFUS!" when they heard that. I was playing with the camera, when I realized that my gripes about the camera were totally invalid. Oh well..ever see an embarrased Tryker?

I was hoping that on the part where Acridiel talks in German on his Teamspeak that someone would translate it and tell me "Hey Beau you shoulda' HEARD what he was saying about you!"
And yes, still figuring out the audio problems lol..I now have the good software figured out and now must move on to figuring out better ways to balance, and to mix.
On the part where me and Acridiel are talking, when the two mics seem quite a bit in different volumes, (Acridiels was the much more quieter one)..what happened is that my Skype recorder recorded it in one mono track instead of two seperate tracks (one of him, one of me..) so that I couldn't adjust the tracks to be equal volume.
Ugh, I will get it down! lol

Edit: Great shuotcast Beau, and Acridiel too on the "live" cast. Was a real pleasure listening to the show this time to. Although I did like the longer music parts you had in your first shoutcast (at least), I still like the professional touch and the subjects you discussed this time too. Keep 'em coming mate
