Can't explain this one

Gonna try and keep this short.

I've noticed something weird while crafting amps. I have a certain combination that gives me pretty good results...Basic Anete/Fine Perfling/Ex Zun. Now back when i was making normal amps those mats gave me 76% stats (82% when made). So i move up to Med Amps..i expect the stats to go up...nope exact same mats get me 73% (78% when made). Aight so i move up to High QL amps, again same mats 68% (72% when made).

I'm fine with the stats not improving...NOT. But how are the stats dropping? Am i missing something? Anybody whos got the skinny on this i'd appreciate a bone here.

without looking at how the different plans affect the ratios of components, I will say..
Why bother having different plans if they all make the same result ?

It is a good thing IMHO, that the MQ and HQ plans are not simply scaled up versions of the basic plans, but do require some tuning of your previously adequate recipe.

more scope for crafter knowledge :D

Only the stats with those specific mats drop.
You can match the 82% and probably improve slightly by finding a different recipe for each of the MQ and HQ plans. :)

As Iwojimmy said, the ratio of mats is very important, but not even that is all the story. Crafting is very intricate- dive in, enjoy!

The only stat that changes inherently with the plan is durability. And simply put, the more mats the item takes to make the, moredurability it will have in general.

Because if you use mediocre materials for a basic plan, sure, they'll work fine, but you aren't going to make something of high quality with crappy materials. You need to use the finest to make the finest! Duh. :)

This is what we call "The Art Of Ampcrafting"

You have to compensate the increased amount of ambers in the amp
with a new mix of mats as shaft and grip, it is possible to get an
83/83 with excel zun ;)

This is why ampcraft is more complicated than other weaps.

I agree. I have different recipes for all three categories of amps, unfortunately the ratios dont always work the same with each quality of amp.
