Microsoft recently cancelled True Fantasy Live Online, a console based, Xbox specific MMO that was in development for many years. It was wildly anticipated and a lot of people were upset to see it tossed. However, Nevrax could take advantage of this event by developing a ported version for the Xbox.
This version would directly connect with the current servers that we, the PC players, are already using. This would allow Xbox players and PC players to simultaneously interact and play together on the same servers. It is not impossible as it's already being done with Final Fantasy XI Online. PS2 and PC players are currently playing the same game on the same servers, together.
The amount of money needed to do this would be extreme, but if Nevrax was to team up with Microsoft on the deal, they could manage.
So there's my highly unlikely, (dream) idea. Please feel free to tell me it will never happen
