This can be caused by a number of things.
- Firewall deciding to block the app
- - make sure the client has full access as per the
Networking FAQ
- video drivers out of date or improperly installed
- - make sure that video drivers are installed properly (remove current drivers, reboot the computer, install newer video drivers)
- memory may be not quite up to the task
- - get
http://www.memtest.org or some other diagnostic app to check things out
- virtual paging may be inadequate
- - make sure that system partition has enough free disk space to handle a large paging file. You may also want to make a fixed paging file.
Worse comes to worse email the client.log and the log.log file to
support-ee@ryzom.com and we will see if anythign obvious stands out.
