need help- window display

I am trying to play the game but i keep getting a message-can't create a window display (1024x768) 32-bit, please help

First make sure that your desktop display depth is set to 32-bit.
Right click desktop, select 'properties' and then 'display'.

If things are set to 32 bit colour depth then you may need to look here and follow the instructions.
