Increasing negative fame

Well, I have a quick question, the answer to which I couldn't find immeidately by searching for it.

I'm playing a Matis, fame -8 with the Zoraï right now. I've done two missions to increase that obviously, but now it seems like some things have changed, and I can't find anyone in Zora willing to offer me Zoraï missions (I can get Kami missions, with -7 in fame with them). So the simple question is, how to increase my Zora fame? Did I miss an NPC willing to hand out missions to me?

If I'm not totally lost, you can only get missions from the city welcomer when you have negative civilization fame, once you hit 0 you can get from all the others aswell

Yes, that's how I got the first two missions that gave me -8 in fame. But now the city welcomer only tells me of places to go in the city. Or is that me getting things confused?

There are at least two other NPCs that will give you missions that can contribute to your Zoraï fame positively as a Matis/"born" Karavan: a Journeyman near Still Waters and a Tribe Welcomer at the Icon Worshippers outside Min-Cho... Try those, too
Once your tribe fame with the Worshippers is above zero, you'll have far more opportunities to gain more fame missions from their people.

If you right click on the Welcomer you can pick missions. The Welcomers are just to helpful and try to show you around before giving you missions.

Make sure you click finish on your completed missions, and repeat them as they become available again.
I dont know how many times I delivered that bottle of "medicine" to the sargent in Davae, but I suspect she had a serious drinking problem

There is a delivery mission giver in the Icon Worshipper camp that has a mission to someone a few steps away, and another to a guy 100 yards to the east.

I imagine there is very small fame in those two missions and there is a cooldown timer of an hour and some.

I'm holding off doing too many "Urgent" timed deliveries until I make/confirm a list of npcs in the cities. I've found lists but with errors.

Also look for missions that will be "very greatful" and avoid missions for dappers as they give less fame. Depending on your skill levels, look for the right patrollers in the higher regions and you can take bigger fame chunks out.

If I remember correctly, theres also an ambassador from each race, stationed in every Capitol. The trick is to locate them

The 'tell me about this place' or similar titled missions are bugged, you'll see an entry in your mission log if you go through all the prompts one time.

The workaround I've used is to just leave them in my missions log, after that, the city welcomers will give you just missions to select from.
