Hello everyone
I just joined Ryzom last night and am playing on the newbie island, still. Since the servers are still down, I thought I'd ask my question here while waiting for them to come back up.
What determines skill point cost? My reason for asking is that I started a fight-specialised Tryker and went to level 15 in combat before starting on magic. While all fight skills were multiples of 10 (10, 20, 30, etc), some magic skills were odd numbers like 17 and 37. So I'm wondering why that is? Is some skills just odd numbers, or is it race specific? Or does specialising in one branch of the skill tree make the skills of the other branches more expensive?
Thanks in advance!

Skill point cost?
Re: Skill point cost?
Hello and welcome on Atys
Skill point cost didn't depend of race and there is no specialization malus.
But for magic skill, you can buy a complete 'package' (spell + range + time + sap/life cost) or only a piece of this package. So if you already have a piece of a package, is cost decrease.

Re: Skill point cost?
Hi, welcome, etc
stanza's and actions range in cost from 3 to 100sp, some really good one's you'll want to learn fairly early on cost 50sp - it's always good to check out the action progression window and see whats going to be available to you in the near future and save for it..
or do what i did and train interesting sounding things and read the descriptions later
