Quelques nouvelles de NEL

Une news intéressante à lire postée sur nevrax.org à propos du NEL:
-----------------------------------------------
As you may know, the Ryzom Ring (cache) extension by Nevrax is close to release. Hence the BRANCH_RING_ALPHA branch, which has received the biggest activity for the last months, will soon be frozen, and another branch will become the "active" one.
As announced by Andi 'Debug', we have merged the BRANCH_RING_ALPHA branch into the HEAD branch, so that it incorporates the latests developments in NeL. For example the technology developed in NeL for the Ryzom Ring includes the Network Layer 6, introducing modules and OORPC (Object-Oriented Remote Procedure Calls).
And now, we have finally reviewed and applied the pending patches submitted by the most active members of the NeL community. The patches notably include 64-bit compilation (by Sfb), Visual Studio 8 compatibility (by Debug), and more. At the moment, the patches have been made available in a special branch called BRANCH_COMMUNITY_PATCHES. Make sure to update from this branch if you want this version of NeL.
In the future, the HEAD branch is bound to become more open and reactive to community patches, even accepting new parts developed by the community. To make this possible, we at Nevrax are currently updating our internal processes to reflect this change. As a consequence, the BRANCH_COMMUNITY_PATCHES branch is temporary and will be merged into the HEAD branches later (say a few weeks).
-----------------------------------------------
Où on nous confirme que Nevrax va bientôt reporter ses priorités de développement sur autre chose que le Ring.
Et qu'ils seront plus ouverts et réactifs vis à vis des patchs et développements de la communauté travaillant sur le NEL.
