Move several items to my mektoub packer?

Post by rascal21 »

Simple noob question here...

How can i (if i can) move many items to my mektoub packer please?...Would be very convenient to - for instance - move all my materials to my mule after a good hunting session....

Thx in advance

You will need to be within 40m of the packer you have brought. (packers are purchased from the stables in any city or town price is from 110K to 500K -ish)

If you packer is resting in a stable you will need to be within the region of the stable (check sys info - and it will say "you have entered XXX stables XXX being the city/town u are in)

there are a couple of ways to transfer the mats:

Enter you inventory - and right click the "packer1" tab, this opens up a new window where you can drop and drag items from bag to packer1

Enter you inventory - right clikc the item you want to move then click "move--> packer1"

open up your Pet screen (old style keys was Ctrl-P - think its shift-P now, tho im not too sure) Click on the box thing to the right of the words "packer1" and that will open up the packer1 inventory, then open your inventory and drop and drag (long winded way of the first)

to move multitudes of mats hold down the shift key while drop dragging. Your packer can hold 1000 mats

Hope that helps

when you are in range of your animals (20m? something like that) their inventory spaces will be active (are greyed out if you are too far away) from there you can either right click stuff in your bag and move to, or right click the animal tab to seperate and drag and drop. holding shift (erm or possibly ctrl (curses awful memory)) lets you move whole stacks.

Hmm, no, you can't group several stacks, to move them in one step. But you can SHIFT-drag'n'drop, to move complete stacks without being asked how many items you want to move.

No simple way to move a group of items.

You can, however split your windows out, have your bag and your packer window open side by side and drag and drop the items from one to the other.

Shift and right click the tab I think. Sure someone can confirm this! :)

ah ok thx for the shift-drag/drop tip...

...no way to drag multiple different items at once is missing though (or even a "move all to packer" functionality....

im afriad not.

But if you hunt on the same mobs (at same level) for a while you will only get like 5 or 6 different kinds of mats (or 2 if you hunt plants) so it wont take forever to empty your bag after a hunt (as per your question). Unlike sum MMO's acessing the inventory has very little (if any) lag. Ive found it frustrating (in other games) trying to move stuff about and having to wait 10 seconds before its moved. ;)
