I've been keeping my packer mek well utilised here, but everytime I transfer a second stack of something to it, it stacks in a separate stack. Today I got an error that there was no more slots available. Now, I could make more available, if I could stack what I have saved. Is there any way to do that? Drag and drop doesn't seem to work and transferring back and forth in inventory doesn't work.
Any help?
Thanks,
Tin.

Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist.
Children already know that dragons exist.
Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed.

As per a GM, no there isn't a way to stack.

Re: Question: Breaking/Building Stacks
The only "workaround" I've found (actually a friend shared with me) is by using a 'feature' of the 'Exchange' option between characters...tinpony wrote:I've been keeping my packer mek well utilised here, but everytime I transfer a second stack of something to it, it stacks in a separate stack. <<Use at your own risk. It's worked for me - might not for you...>>
1. Have someone go into trade/exchange mode with you - tell them not to do anything. (You want someone you can trust doing this with you as if you mistakenly hit the 'accept' key you might lose your items.)
2. Move the items you want stacked into the trade window (limit 8). MAKE SURE you have enough room in your personal inventory to hold the resulting stack. Make sure that you aren't stacking 'Basic' with 'Fine' as that of course won't work.
3. Hit your Cancel button to cancel the trade. <--- This is where it happens - the cancel function takes everything in the trade window and puts it back into your personal inventory - but it also seems to stack the items in the process!!
Based on this 'feature' alone I know they have the code in the client to do stack combines and such - they just haven't gotten the manual part of it working apparently...

No offense, but if your method is a secret which you are unwilling to share or only want to hint at... then the GM is right. There is no way.
Prove me wrong kids, prove me wrong.

Re: Question: Breaking/Building Stacks
So you use missions that want you to give an item to an NPC ?ozric wrote:Well the GM is misinformed then

Re: Question: Breaking/Building Stacks
