Hi!

I'm brand new to the game. Only played it for a few hours last night but love the concept of the game and the whole look and feel of it. I've played various games from WoW to EVE Online to City of Heroes always searching for a new roleplay experience and this feels quite unique.

One of the things I was trying to work out last night was how to do a custom emote. For example, it was raining and I wanted to do something like

/me looks up at the rain and lets out a happy sigh

Is this possible? If not, how do you get around it when you're roleplaying?

It isn't possible, alas, but most people use bracketed stars.

You can create a macro with custom text and then hit those keys to run it.

Hi. I was on the Union EU server, it's been quite a while since I played though. It was pretty fun though. Character creation on CoH was such a laugh, I could never get bored of creating costumes.
