The whole of this game can be summarized by this:
Gather Materials.

So if you are a harvester/crafter who enjoys all that digging and collecting and warehousing entails, you're probably having a good time. I liken this game to a strange variant of an RTS, where rather than assume the role of a primary hero-type, you assume the role of a resource producing unit.

Here is what's left:
Exploration is knda fun. For a short while.
The visuals? Well done.
The sound? Well, ok they're weak, but somehow fitting.
Excitement? None.
Gameplay? Lacking.
Storyline? Huh?

So if you are an adventurer type wanting to plan, or spy, or battle, you're probably bored most of the time.

In these games, there is that X-factor. That formless, compelling urge to play more, do more, see more. It just isn't here. Maybe it will be later, when the game is more mature, and more thought has been put into adventuring than mindless farming entry-level mobs so that you can quickly outpace readily available equipment. Of course, by that same time, a few other notable releases will be competing for my waking hours. So....

There ya have one guy's opinion. I'm glad those of ya who enjoy it are doing so. I'm even happier that other options are dawning, because this thing is boring.

See ya next game!
