Just been playing the game for 2 days, but i noticed something i have rarely seen on all the other mmorpg i played.
Is it just me, or mobs hit a BIT hard ?? I mean i'm exploring the island, doing quests then i get attacked by some white dog that hit for 80-90 a hit, just the time it take to turn around i'm dead....
I mean all the other mmorpg i played newbie mobs are not hitting for 1/3 your HP all the time, these are level 2-3 mobs, how much does a level 10 mobs hit for ? 2k per hit ?
This is not a whining post but more like an observation, i understand fighting mobs should be a challenge, but making them hit so hard seems a bit ridiculous.
Another thing, magician get a root spells, nice, but half the mob on the island seem immune to it ?!? What's the point ?

Re: An observation from a newbie
The way I see it, if I can hit them for 80+ a shot at low levels, why can't they hit me for it too? Its up to me to wear adequate armor/raise my hp enough, etc etc.. I personally like games that don't treat you as a superhuman in relation to the rest of the world, just because you are player controlled..
Re: An observation from a newbie
You have to look aout at wich LvL Range the Mobs you attack are.
Green 1 Star upt o 4, or 5 if I remember correctly. The more Stars the harder to kill and the harder they hit.
And you have to get better Armor to survive Simple as that
With the root spell its almost alike, some mobs are immune, but are far more affected in turn by say Ice, or Slow. In other mobs it may be just the other way´round.
Nothing is quite like the other here
And that´s what makes it so exiting. Hope it does not frustrate you too much.

Re: An observation from a newbie
Just to clarify the "con" system:
The background color of the little box in the target window indicates a level range.
Green = 1-30 (?)
Blue = 1-50
Yellow = 50-100
Orange = 100-150
Red = 150-200
Purple = 200-250
The number next to the star indicates a more precise range.
1* green, for example, would be level 1-10. 2* green, level 10-20. 3* green, 20-30. 3* yellow, 70-80. 2* red, 160-170.
So the animal that ate you probably was level 20-30.
One black star on a colored background is a named mob. Two black stars on a colored background is a boss.
Finally, the quality of the materials you quarter from a mob is the same as its level. For example, q5 or q8 materials from a Suckling or Inexperienced 1* green Yubo.

Re: An observation from a newbie
Make sure you buy constitution upgrades from the fight trainer, this will boost your hp enough so the gingo can barely turn around before its dead

Re: An observation from a newbie
never had troubles with ragus or gingo's you just need some better equipment
maybe a bit melee training for extra constitution and strenght for better weapons
but say for yourself irl a wolve bites harder than a bunny same like a yubo and a ragus

Makes those "revenge kills" all the sweeter later on when you survive the first fight with something that used to chase you down and eat you...and all the sudden, you realize...hey, I can kill all these beasties now!! Grrrrr Payback suckaazz!!!

Re: An observation from a newbie
ragus,gingo were put there for a reason, and hit so damn hard at early levels for a reason,
almost all aggro mobs can kill you 1on1 at an equal level, its kinda the point of the game. The trick is learning how to avoid them, knowing where they will be, watching your radar religiously.
